| The hottest train on the railroad, Chicago to New Orleans pig train I-01 is coming by the siding at Blanche. The middle unit is a recently aquired IC 3140. Blanche is not actually a town, just the name of a siding that is just south of Oakland. This siding was 3,190 ft. long and the south half of was removed in 2007. Photo by Fred Goff. |
