Retracing #213’s history encounters a few murky areas. We believe she was originally built in 1941 for Terminal RR Association of Saint Louis. Their site indicates that in 1974 after 33 years of service she was then sold to the Manufacturer’s Railway (MRS) a now defunct railway company also in St. Louis owned by Anheuser-Busch. MRS sold her to Precision Nation, then the trail goes cold with rumors of her scrapping being greatly exaggerated. Currently at NARM she is used on excursion trains and is a solid runner.
