Earl Hampton General Right now the train is on the SOUTH main, which is on the NORTH side (used to confuse the heck out of me at NE Tower) and is going thru Schwegmann's Crossovers. It is still referred to as that name today, even tho the grocery closed about 20 years ago. Great shot, Jerry. Hey did you watch out for spears here? 8/17/2010 11:42:14 AM
Jerry Sires General Schwegmanns receiving parking lot is to the right of the image. No spears were thrown. I use to carry a portable scanner turned into the NOPD 1st District who got lots of radio traffic. I carried it in my shirt pocket and when I was suspecious of someone I would act like I was talking to someone and watch them look around as to who I was talking to. I never had any incidents in the Ninth Ward in all my years of shooting in the area. 8/18/2010 6:14:33 AM
