GE 44-tonner LE202
Went looking for the Hollis & Eastern and found...this GE 44-tonner parked alongside the ATSF south of US 62 on the west side of Altus, adjacent to a scrapyard. Any guess where it wound up?

John Strenski	General	Nice catch. Sorry to say, but I would bet it was scrapped. Bell (the scrapyard) did some critter dismantling. In fact, it was this Bell yard that scrapped the H&E 100.	6/10/2009 11:29:59 PM
