Train i heading West for Chicago. This area is former NYC, ex LSMS, and Union Station is one of the last new Railroad stations built in the 1950's. amtrak had freight service out of here until the new regime did away with it. Was pretty busy loading Amtk boxcars, which were picked up at night. Just down the block from my Mother-in laws house. Spent some time cleaning the crew quarters, before I retired from NS. That bridge in the background is now used for pedistrians, used to be a street bridge connecting with Broadway Ave., before I-75 was built thru here.

As info, the old bridge in the backgroung was known as the Sumner Street bridge. It started at Broadway and ended at the Wabash RR Sumner Street Yards, along the Maumee River, now also a NS property.
