| When I first moved to Long Lake, Brown Road morphed into Lake Street at a grade crossing on the BNSF Wayzata sub. There was a spur tra{k at this location used to park MOW trains. Today I found this job parked here with a plum prize in the middle: A BN caboose. Sans herald, to be sure, but still otherwise just like the ones I saw in revenue service on this line when I was a boy.back during the BN caboose's mid-1980's last stand. |
