Pilbara Iron GE C44-9W         
Two GE Dash-9s and and a GE ES44DCi lean into the super elevated curve on the West Main Track-Tom Price Line near the top of the grade at km 81 near Western Creek in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.The strange looking apparatus fitted to the nose of HI 7050 was for a GPS transponder used for ATO (Automatic Train Operation) or driverless trains. This project has been temporarily suspended due to variouse reasons.
