Scott Silverman General This car was wrecked on 7/31/1991, when the Silver Star derailed just outside Lugoff, NC. The left sides of the last four coaches on the train collided with hopper cars parked on a siding. This was the second last car to derail. The car behind it, 26002, was completely destroyed. 8 passengers lost their lives, and over 90 were injured. 2/23/2008 11:16:33 PM
