Tony Fernandez General Of the GP50s that came to UP at the time of the MP-UP merger, UP #5558 was one of ten ex-MP GP50s to get retro-fitted with dynamic brakes by VMV in 1992/93. Following this wreck, it was repaired and although designated to receive the number #1658, it was retired in Jul 2006 still bearing the number #5558 12/15/2008 9:42:36 AM
