| The sign for Kelly, MO and the trackage there. This branch, owned by the US Army, was built by Frisco in 1941 as the Ft. Wood Branch - it runs from Bundy Junction (not quite 2 miles West of Newburg) to Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. It is approx. 20 miles long, with the longest straight stretch being 2,700 feet long - it was necessary to incorporate 70 curves into this branch because of the terrain. It was built at a cost of approximately $2,500,000.
