My SD40-2 wana be
Just like the Railroad, I have to battle the elements also. When I went "on the law" the night before, the previous day it was sunny and 70 degrees! When I woke up, My truck said it was 18 degrees and it was snowing pretty hard. I took this shot after I fueled before I got on the road. This is my personal SD40-2 of the highway! I don't have a 645 series prime mover, but I do have one of the biggest engines on the road, a Cat C15. This load was picked up in Hanover PA and destined for Indianapolis IN. This winter does not seem to show any signs of being graceful. It's not very fun have to chain up a big truck several times a day. May be I need some flanged wheels to go on this thing!
