Greg Hurt General I do not know the full story on these however I do know that is all the paint it will recieve. It is a upy unit and i beleive has no cab controls either. 1/7/2008 7:10:12 PM
Joe Magruder General UP calls this a CCRCL. It is an unpowered remote contol platform that is m.u.ed to regular locomotives to allow the units to be operated via remote control. They are all former B23 & 30-7's which have been stripped of all major components (note lack of fuel tank) except the engine which is left for weight.
