Description:  Pullman Transport Leasing PS2CD covered hopper PTLX 34097 was “on the ground” in Nashville, Arkansas; on either the Missouri Pacific or the Graysonia, Nashville & Ashdown. The 4750 cubic foot car had been built in September 1973 with a CAPY of 202,000 pounds, a LD LMT of 202,500 pounds and a LT WT of 60,500 pounds for a gross rail load of 263,000 pounds. It was one of 228 PTLX cars (33991-34218) built at Butler, Pennsylvania in Pullman-Standard Lot 9671 and one of five (34097-34101) initially painted for C-G-F GRAIN.
