Pullman Plan #4174 8 section-6 roomette-1 single bedroom-1 double bedroom (8S-6RM-1SB-1DB) sleeper, built in March 1927 in Lot #6054 as the Plan #3958 14 section (14S) sleeper EDMUND CARTWRIGHT, rebuilt in November 1949 to Plan #4174 as the ASH BELT, assigned to general service until repainted to Frisco colors in February 1953, returned to general service (in Two Tone Gray) in June 1959, sold for scrap in May 1964 to Hyman-Michaels. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate 35mm slide, brand is unknown. |

Pullman heavyweight Plan #4174 8 section-6 roomette-1 single bedroom-1 double bedroom (8S-6RM-1SB-1DB) sleeper ASH BELT, rebuilt in November 1949 from the Plan #3958 14 section (14S) sleeper EDMUND CARTWRIGHT (Lot #6054, March 1927), retained by Pullman at the 12/31/1948 divestiture, rebuilt the next year and painted in a Dark Gray paint scheme, repainted to Frisco Red & Silver in February 1953, repainted to the Two-Tone Gray (TTG) seen here in June 1959, sold for scrap to Hyman-Michaels in May 1964. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate Ektachrome 35mm slide. |
