Description:  And a little warmth, too. The weekend had been dismal, 50s washout rain, then cold. By Wednesday, it had warmed up a bit, into the 50s with screaming sun. I heard a southbound horn, and beat a path out of the house and headed for Westville. Finding nothing there, and a dark signal, I worked up to Watts. Upon arrival, I heard CP 8930 south calling the dispatcher. Cool, got him, now leading a southbound grain train off the Illinois River bridge at Watts.

Description:  Its now the time of year where the sun is low, and the shadows reach places they would not other times of year. One must adjust accordingly. The southbound grain train splits the signals at CP North Watts as it blasts south, catching a patch of sun as it rolls past.
