RDG 4-4-0C #406 - Reading Co
Title:  RDG 4-4-0C #406 - Reading Co
Description:  Beautiful original photo of Reading Shops built 4-4-0 C "American type" camelback delivered in 1911 as a member of the D-8c class. In 1920, several of the class were superheated, redesigned with Walschaert radial valve gears and reclassified as D-8sd. This locomotive made it to June of 1945 before being retired and scrapped. No photographer or date given but since the Walschaert vale gears are present, the photo was taken after 1920. I left the photo in its sepia coloring as it is fitting for this locomotive to be seen as a beautiful "golden oldie"
