Description:  Nice informational photo which might be either an ALCo-Brooks builder's photo or a New York Central publicity/inventory photo. In 1936, the loco was renumbered to NYC #4667. After 27 years of service, it was retired in April of 1950 and finally scrapped in July, 1950.

Description:  One of the more complicated looking Pacifics, this one is an example of a 1925 Alco-Brooks, built as MC 8350, renumbered to NYC (CCC&StL) 6526 in March 1929, renumbered to NYC 4926 in August 1936, retired in July 1952 and sold for scrap. Specifics - K-5a class, 79" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 25x28" cylinders, engine weight of 301,000, tractive effort of 37,500 lb. No exact location or date was given for this photograph nor the photographer's name.
