It's always a thrill to me to be able to post a Hoosier connecte train photo like this one. Specs - serial #64631, class K-1b, 73" drivers, 215 psi boiler pressure, 22.5x26" cyldiners, engine weight of 255,320 lb, tractive effort of 32,951 lb. The loco was sold for scrap to the Luntz Iron & Steel Company on 2/14/1953. The photo is from the Howard W. Ameling collection. |
