Built by Alco in April of 1943 as MILW #1676 (serial #70814), it was later renumbered MILW 873. In 1967, it was traded in to EMD for a new GP40 loco. Specs - 10-ARS class, 1000hp, engine weight of 253,000 lb. An unknown photographer took this photo using Kodak 116 film for a print size of 2 3/8 x 4 1/4" that was scanned. |
