Title: |
CO 0-8-0 #79 - Chesapeake & Ohio |
Description: |
Originally built as Hocking Valley #109 by Lima Locomotive Works in 1926, it now sits in a scrap line awaiting the scrapper's torch in an unidentified yard. No exact date was given but most were scrapped between 1950-53. R.D. Patton photo. With Jonathan Spurlock's help (see comment below), I agree that the location probably is Richmond so have changed it accordingly. Thanks again, Jonathan! |

CO 0-8-0 #106 - Chesapeake & Ohio |
Description: |
A hard working switcher with a head of steam is working this afternoon at one of the C&O yards. I beleive this was a 1925 locomotive. Lima built class C-15 Unfortunately, no information was on the back of the photo to identify the location, date or photographer so arbitrary ones were set. |
