Description:  ALV. Here is a photo that was published in the Thursday, 13 June 1974, issue of the "Altoona Mirror." Photo Caption: "Stopped at Bellwood for the photographer is Altoona-bound car No. 170 of the Altoona & Logan Valley Electric Railway on the Tyrone-to-Altoona line. In the window is George Greene, car dispatcher. The cars weighed 20 tons and could attain a top speed of 70 miles per hour. The only head-on collision recorded for the trolley line occurred at the Fostoria turnout north of Bellwood."
