Finally!!

Description:  The ET44AHs have been in service most of the year-since at least February-but I have not been able to catch one leading for a chase. Finally, I was headed up to drop recycling-the transfer station is right next to the tracks, and I often see trains there-when I saw a train on the Lincoln Av crossing. I spun around, getting on US 412, hoping for the bridge shot. Nope-he beat me. But I saw the leaders vaulted radiator, and knew it was a 5000. Off I went. Fortunately, recyclables dont smell!! I caught him as he was going through Watts.

Description:  Id gone out to put air in the tires on my wifes 2001 Stratus R/T(the five speed) and went up to Davidson Rd to check the signal. While I was there, the radio burped, and the next thing I saw, the signal had gone red southbound. Good sign, I thought.
