Title:  CP Dorion Turn waitings for its signal at Dorval
Description:  Power is CP 8228 and caboose is CP 434957. The latter is a common sight on transfers, work trains, etc in the Montreal area and is in great shape for a caboose in this day and age. The track between CN and CP tracks are the CN/CP connector, since removed.

Description:  Usually 270 ran mid to late morning. Todays effort is behind, getting through Endicott in the late afternoon. It was worth the wait, thats an interesting power set. Today's train has 60 freight and 11 TOFC tacked on behind. Check out the Shawmut hoppers behind the power. They were a fairly common sight on the Tier in those days.

Description:  I always carried my scanner with me(which, by the way, is illegal in some places, New York among them. See VTL secvion 397) just in }ase something turned up. Today was one of those days, as I heard D 22 calling the signal at 216-2. I was on the west side, and able to get into position to get a shot near Lester Av. Thiv is the result, a lightning stripe GP 38 with 12 cars passing under Arch St.
