Western Maryland had 2 BL2s. It made two slugs for the BL2s to mother out of spare parts. A close look at this slug shows EMD trucks and most of an ALCO body. Clearly the BL2s needed more traction to perform yard switching duty, as seen here. |

Clearly the BL2s needed more traction to perform yard switching duty, as seen here. Where else can you see a BL2 parenting a slug but here? That last phrase ought to get me an "Editor's Choice." |
