Description:  Here is a photo of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4, a 2-4-6T built in the Altoona Machine Shops as a 4-4-0 during March of 1882, later rebuilt as a 2-4-6T, and retired in October of 1893 after just eleven years of experimental service. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. Williams Collection.
