The photographer is not identified. Prominent here is PRR engine #9465, an FF-20 built by Fairbanks-Morse in January of 1948, rated at 2,000 horsepower, and retired in September of 1962 after just 14 years of revenue service. In this context, it's being "cannibalized" for parts. |
