37424 was recently given the temporary number of 37558 to match the nameplate "Avro Vulcan XH558", Britain's last flying Avro Vulcan bomber, which saw service against Argentina during the Falklands conflict. Flying 16000 miles round trip to bomb the runway at Port Stanley, using mid-air refuelling!
