Here is a postal card entitled "Pennsylvania Railroad. New Type Passenger Locomotive." Postmarked: 26 March 1917. Engine #3395 is the K-29 (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by the American Locomotive Company as a K-29 in October of 1911, rebuilt in Juniata as a K-29S in August of 1913, and retired in September of 1929 after just 18 years of experimental service. |
