Here is the third of three photos by an unidentified photographer of a motive power display run by the Pennsylvania Railroad at its West Philadelphia Yards in March of 1924. Prominent here is engine #3740, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during March of 1920 and retired in February of 1956 after 36 years of faithful service.

Description:
Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Morris Park. New York, on 15 February 1951. Visible at the left is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3740, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during March of 1920 and retired in February of 1956 after 36 years of faithful service. In this context, it's workin' on the Long Island Rail Road. Unfortunately, the road numbers of the other locomotives pictured here are not recorded. The Houser Collection.
