Description:  I expect this Alco 0-6-0 spent a lot of time switching in its 37 years with the MEC. A Class K it was built in November 1910 and scrapped in April 1947. Date, photographer and location are not noted on this old print although I suspect the location is Portland...(?) /DL

Description:  No date or photographer info with this old print. A great RR scene. Engineer waveing as he switches the yard in a well photographed 0-6-0. #163 was an MEC class K locomotive, an Alco/Schnecetady product. Blt in Nov 1910 and scrapped in April 1947. Cyl 20x26 with 51 inch drivers. Builders #49201 as per RR History’s master MEC roster. /DL
