Description:  Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 4-8-4 Class O-5-A 5612 flying green flags at Burlington, Iowa on August 8, 1937, photographer unknown, print by Don Gruber, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 5612 was assembled by the CB&Q at West Burlington, Iowa with components supplied by various manufacturers (the boiler was supplied by Baldwin), completed in June 1937, which would make it two months old in this photo. It was retired in May 1960.

Description:  Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 4-8-4 Class O-5-A 5612, date, location, and photographer unknown, print by Tom Klinger, Chuck Zeiler collection. Although the date and location are unknown, according to the CB&Q Locomotive Assignment Sheet dated November 1, 1955, number 5612 was assigned to the Galesburg Division and based on the Mars Light and cab signal box (rectangular box on top of the boiler) which were installed in the 1950's.
