It appears to have a pile driver and support train in tow. |

Built around June 1952 (c/n 80198), it was renumbered to 9112 July 29, 1970, rebuilt to Hump Slug 9852 December 8, 1971, renumbered to 3952 in mid-1974, renumbered!to 142 in August 1974, retired sometime before September 1987. It appears to have a pipe running along the top of the long hood and up the exhaust stack. If anyone knows the purpose of that pipe, please leave a comment. My best guess would be a crankcase breather pipe. |
