I honestly feel bad for the conductor on this days Ford Hauler. He feels that by sticking a broom out of the cab and 'trying' to ruin a shot, that it will give him sort of good feeling. In other news, a massive Hauler comes up towards the plant with a single GT boxcar and a long train of empty racks. We are just south of Excelsior Boulevard on the Canadian Pacific Soo Line MN&S Spur (the former main line of the Minneapolis, Northfield, and Southern railroad), a place I've always wanted to photograph a train at. Lo and behold: by pure luck I finally got to do that! Here comes the northbound CP local which serves Nesbit Siding in Bloomington where CP interchanges with Progessive Rail, operator of the former MN&S "High Line." Today only one loaded gondola is making the return trip to Humbolt Yard. |
