Album Info:The Pennsylvania Railroad often referred to itself as the "Standard Railroad of the World" and to millions of rail travelers, millions of servicemen during World War II, and railfans for over 80 years, the Class K-4s was, and to many still is, the "Standard Passenger Locomotive". 475 K4s locos were built and served especially well during the heavy WW II traffic era. These are some original photos of these beautiful locomotives. Unfortunately the location and dates of these photos were not marked on most of them. Most of these are new to the RR Archives site.
