Album Info:This line was the Rock Island's St Louis-Kansas City subdivision. Operations ceased near the Rock's final shutdown on 3-31-1980. The tracks here stayed here until Feb. 2016 when the rails were removed in preparation for this right of way to become the "Rock Island Trail".

Description:  Two streaks of rust are still in place and the ballast doesn't look too bad. Sadly, a lot of brush and small trees are reclaiming the ex-Rock Island St Louis-KC sub.
