Description:  Not sure what happened but the conductor and an HPD (Houston) along with HFD were on scene. Dispatcher was telling the conductor to relax. UP and KCS reps showed up but left shortly after I put the bird in the air. Hope everything worked out for them.

Description:  This westbound KCS grain train with KCS 4190 as a DPU locomotive would eventually be called in to the UP Emergency line by me due to a locked axle that was blowing out strong white smoke on the UP Houston sub in the Heights area. Dispatcher asked a crew to do a roll by and they eventually concluded it indeed was worthy of calling the mechanical department. Hopefully my call to UP wasnt "unnecessary" but I did what I thought was best.
