CSX 305
Title:  CSX 305
Description:  CSXT 305 and a ES44DC lead a stack train through Junction City, GA over the NS Macon to Albany mainline. As the lettering on the bridge indicates, this CSX line was once part of the Atlantic Coast Lines mainline from Waycross to Atlanta via Fitzgerald and Manchester which was once part of the Atlanta, Birmingham and Coast Railroad.

Description:  Georgia Central U23B 3946 and two other former Southern Railway U23Bs sit in the yard in Macon, GA on a very cold January morning. The Georgia Central Railroad, runs over the former Seaboard Air Line railroad from Macon to Savannah and interchange with NS in Macon, Heart of Georgia in Vidalia, GA and CSX and NS in Savannah. Their roster currently consists of exclusively GE U23Bs, mostly of Southern Railway heritage.

Cordele is fairly unique in that 3 railroads cross at grade at the same diamond. The track in the foreground is the former SAL Savannah to Columbus mainline, now Heart of Georgia RR, the double track line is the former Southern Railway Macon to Valdosta mainline, now NS, and the track the CSX train is on is the former ACL Atlanta to Waycross mainline, now CSX.
