Rail in use on Union Pacific Huntington Sub. Main line. Rail made III = March 2006. VT refers to vacuum degassed, a progress to remove hydrogen, by use of a vacuum. CC refers to slow cooling to allow gas to leave the steel. Hydrogen gas left in steel causes slow cracking. Please look up subject for more complete details of VT and CC. Note: all thee hammers are of different shapes; may be hard to tell on logo. Czech Republic was formerly part of Czechslovakia until 1993.
