Latrobe Car Barn
Title:  Latrobe Car Barn
Description:  The Latrobe carbarn served the former Westmoreland County Railway, a transit line that connected Latrobe and Derry. It also served the West Penn Railways, an interurban line connecting many local towns in Southwest Pennsylvania. The barn now sits abandoned near the former Rolling Rock Brewery.

Title:  Unknown boxcar near Perryopolis
Description:  This boxcar sat just off of Route 51 near Frazier High Schools football field near Perryopolis. This was the location of the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroads former Elwell Branch. It appears to be a former P&LE Boxcar, but all the reporting marks have been painted off. Google Maps imagery shows that this boxcar may have been moved from its location.

Description:  The former right of way of the Ligonier Valley Railroad south of Latrobe. Norfolk Southern crews began tearing up the tracks within weeks of this photo, and the town plans on converting this portion of the line into a rail trail.
