The last one!!!! |
Description: |
As of August 21, 2011, This was the last Conrail painted engine in operation on CSX, in fact it was enroute to Huntington for repainting while a breif layover at Willard waiting to be assigned another train after its 0130 arrival from Selkirk and departed around 1100 hours for Huntington. The other Conrail painted engines on this date 2730, 2758, 7301 and 7302 were all at Huntington for repainting or waiting to be repainted. This is a Conrail Shared Asssets assigned engine. I never photograped prior to this date. I was on the way back to Alabama from a funeral in Ohio and by a miracle this engines was nearby when I was in the state. |
