UP on BNSF, beside the UP
Title:  UP on BNSF, beside the UP
Description:  Five Union Pacific locomotives come east up Cajon Pass through Sullivan's Curve, utilizing trackage rights on BNSF. This train will pass through Victorville and Barstow on BNSF, then diverge at Daggett and follow the LA&SL through Afton Canyon, ower Cima Hill, on its way to Salt Lake City. The tracks to the right are the Palmdale Cutoff, a route built by SP in the 1960's to allow direct access for SP between Mojave and the LA Basin. That route is now owned by UP.
