Description:  The ex Conrail Deuce rounds the bend just South (RR East) of Minneiska with a lashup reminiscent of the CSX back in the mid 2000's. They even had a block of CSX hoppers on the head end to boot.

Description:  Pulling around the bend at Glenwood is what I'd been waiting for going on five days. Since coming West under darkness on the night of the 12th, this consist was on my radar and I was determined to get a shot of it. Five days later, six different call times later, a new lead unit and an MP15AC for good measure, and its finally about to happen.

Title:  State of the Art
Description:  In my eyes, the SD40-SD45 lines from 1966-1971 were two of the best looking units ever produced. The spacing, overall length, truck design, and simplicity was spot on. And to see an old soldier like this with new paint, A/C, open bearings, and an electric handbrake is just plain awesome.

Description:  Not too lmng ago, this Dresser Turn would have either two SOO SD60's or three CP SD40-2's. Not too long ago, the 7003 still wore BNSF patches and was a mainline mainstay. Not too long ago, the two trailing SD40-2's were both hauling for Pacificv, the 6212 CP and the 6458 UP. Not too long ago....
