Album Info:I happened on Q409 west bound at Annapolis Jct just after sunrise on a bright early spring morning at 7:45. Hed just gotten a Medium Clear at Mead, the signal just east of this location. The area in the fore ground contains a stone processing facility which occupies the old Y that was the junction between the B&O and the B&A (Baltimore & Annapolis RR). The track has been taken up on the east end of the Y towards Odenton where the there was once a junction with the PRR years ago. Roomer has it that an intermodal RR to Truck facility is to be built in the area behind the camera. I dont expect the Boston & Maine gons are long for this world. /DL

Description:  Q409 Westbound. The Blue U Boat, #2779 runs hopper cars around the stone yard & does not leave the facility so far as I know. Just below the camera angle is the south side of the Y which is still in use. /DL
