Built by the Milwaukee Road Shops sometime between 1903-13, this was just one of over 160 that were construction during the 10 years. Here is another photo of MILW 0-6-0 #1443 taken on the same day as the previous photo in this album but by a different photographer. The loco was built by the Milwaukee Road Shops between 1903-13. It's number was changed a few times with the last being in 1938 to MILW 1443. Original specs - class I5-a, 51" drivers, 19x26" cylinders, 180 psi boiler pressure. This is a James Bowie photo.

Originally the loco was built by the Milwaukee Shops in April of 1908 as MILW #1207 but renumbered to #1416 in 1938.The loco was lucky enough to have survived as a display at the Museum of Sarts & Science in Evansville, IN.It was purchased by the Museum for the Wabash Sand and Graveil Company (its last employer) in 1965.
