Description: |
Today I decided to test my luck with a CFE Road train passing the PLs since I had no luck with the local the other day. When I arrived both eastbound and westbound road trains were in the yard, but nothing was moving. However, it didnt take too long before the Fort Wayne crew jumped into the eastbound and took off. Here they are passing Dalton Corp. on the east side of Warsaw. |

After sitting at the west end of Warsaw (Selby Siding) for about an hour and a half, the westbound crew arrived to take the westbound train toward Hobart. I missed some NS action while out here, one train which had NS 1074 on the head end which I didnt know about until after the CFE train left. After getting a track warrant from NSs Chicago Dispatch, the train prepares to leave and take off west. I had pitched for the one for one of the CP SD40-2's to be leading today, but of course it had to be trailing. Oh well, the sharp orange does look nice in this sunlight! |

After receiving the warrant, the train took off out of Selby and continued west. There have been off and on tiny rain showers all throughout today, and unfortunately I seemed to be caught in one at this moment. Not the perfect sunlight like the last shot. |

The conductor stayed behind at Selby to throw the switch back to the main. The train stopped momentarily in Atwood to let the conductor drive back up to the head end with a maintenance worker. After the conductor was on board, the train notched up and began their trip west to Hobart. |

The train was moving very quickly so I wasnt able to get it in a lot of spaces like I had assumed. I jumped straight for Etna Green where I waiting no more than 2 minutes and the train raced by me. |

The train had a speed restriction in Bourbon so they slowed down just a bit. I would assume the speed restriction was for recent trackwork, as the last time I saw a train go through here with my dad, they were rocking at every bit of track speed. |
