Viewing Album:  Toronto CP Galt, MacTier and North Toronto Subs

Album Info:I now reside in the infamous area of The Junction, Toronto. It finds me down the street from Lambton Yard and close to the Junction of CP Galt (West), MacTier CP (North) and North Toronto sub to the East. My shots are HDR on my Android smart phone. THe ex-CN Weston sub also runs North and South here but has been taken over by Metrolinx with an onsloaught of Passeneger trains. A CN local comes down the Weston into CP Lambton yard in the middle of the night. Back in the day this was a hub of activity from both railroads, hence the name 'The Junction'. As well CN ran North and South East of on the 'Newmarket sub' also a host of Metrolinx GO Transit trains nowadays.

Description:  CN units sit on the engine track at the Lambton Yard office. The units were most likely pay back hours to CP from apparent CN use of CP engines for interchange and not swapping out the units.

Description:  CN 549, that usually runs in the late evening from CN MacMillan Yard to CP Lambton. Strange seeing the transfer parked there during the day. Possibly the crew ran out of hours?
