Album Info:This album contains pics of the remains of the Southern Yard in athens. The yard was abandoned probably in the 70's or 80's but remained virtually intact until early 2006 when the yard was cleared to make way for a new building for the coincil on aging which occupies the old Southern depot at the site. These pics were taken on March 4, 2006. demolition had already begun and most of the yard was already gone. What is documented in these pictures is all that remained and even this is now gone.
