BRMX 4301 Interior |
Description: |
A view of the nicely restored interior of one of Berkshire Scenic's former DL&W MU trailers, complete with wicker walkover seats. As the museum no longer operates excursions at this location, operations consist of one of these cars and their GE built 50-ton diesel shuttling visitors between the station and display yard. |

BRMX 9128 |
Description: |
As train rides are not currently operated at Lenox, former Conrail 9128 has been regulated to display status in the Lenox yard. Built in 1952 as Pennsylvania Railroad 8528, the locomotive also passed through Penn Central and Conrail ownership. It arrived at the museum in 2006 and still wears its faded but fully intact Conrail blue and white, a rarity for locomotives in 2016. |

NH 3884 |
Description: |
The museum acquired this former NH wood sided baggage car in 2012 from the Railroad Museum of New England, trucking it from Connecticut to the Lenox site. This car is one of the oldest surviving pieces of NH rolling stock, built by the company's own shops in 1896 for use in transporting horses. In 1929, the car was reconditioned for standard baggage service and would operate on regular passenger trains into the late 1950s. |

BRMX 329 |
Description: |
A veteran of northern New Jersey commuter operations, this car was constructed by the Pullman Company for operation by the Lackawanna Railroad out of Hoboken Terminal, across from New York City, to various suburban destinations such as Morristown, Gladstone, and Montclair. With the electrification of the majority of DL&W's commuter lines in the 1930s, this coach was converted into a trailer car to operate with the newly purchased electric MUs. Serving through Erie Lackawanna and Conrail, it was retired from active duty in 1984 by New Jersey Transit and soon sold to the museum for excursioo operations. |
