NW Alco C630 #135 - Norfolk & Western |
Description: |
An unknown photographer caught this aging Alco C630 sitting in the Roanoke, VA, yards. Built in May of 1966, it originally carried the number 1135 but if I understand correctly, it was renumbered 135 shortly before retirement. From Mike Woodruff (see comment below), this unit has survived and in the Virginia Museum of Transportation. Thanks, Mike. |
