Album Info:This special passenger train was not on my radar until my friend Max Smith told me about it a couple weeks before it ran. Since I honestly wasn't particularly excited about it at first, I relied on Max to keep informed on the train's local schedule and any changes that could come about. While Max focused in on this for the three days that it was reasonably nearby, I could only commit to seeing it on Sunday. Our plan for the 17th was to intercept the train in Binghamton, NY at 08:30 where they were expected for a crew change. Luckily for us we were a little bit early because as soon as we saw the train in Binghamton, they were already on the move toward Schenectady! And so the chase was on! After seeing these old and refurbished passenger cars for the first time, I had to admit; it was a damn good looking train!

Title:  Disqualified........trees obscure view.
Description:  I'm a tree lovin' guy, but DANG IT, these trees gotta go! Despite this painful fact, this was one of my favorite shots of the day since the sun had finally come out. Shot from the Pony Farm road spur.

ONE MORE FROM THE ROAD - I88
Title:  ONE MORE FROM THE ROAD - I88
Description:  Since neither one of us are experts at chasing the old D&H, we were struggling to find a place where we could get a nice wide open view of this sleek looking train; this is the best we could do. If I remember correctly there was 18 cars in the consist, so even here we're only seeing a third of the whole thing.

Icing on the cake!
Title:  Icing on the cake!
Description:  We beat the train to this location by about 10-15 minutes, so we had some time to look around and set-up. When I saw this thing I just about flipped..........KING 157! I've been heavy into the graffiti thing since early spring, and to find this box on the siding at Delanson was just like icing on the cake. If anyone out there knows what the reason is for this car being here, then I'd love to know.
